Accepting the invitation of the People’s Committee of Quang Minh Commune, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province, Vietnam International Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion Center came to attend the program “Long Tong Festival” in the spring of the year 2023, taking place at the cultural house of Khiem village, Quang Minh commune, Bac Quang district.
The festival is a long-standing cultural feature of the locality as well as the traditions of the Tay Nung ethnic groups in the northern mountainous region. With the activity and preservation of folklore, this area still preserves many indigenous features such as gliding dance, plowing contest, transplanting contest, throwing Shuttlecocks… Imbued with national identity.
In additional, the festival also has very meaningful activities such as culinary contests, art contests, worshiping ceremony to pray for a year of favorable rain and wind, and a bountiful harvest.
Sharing the joy of welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Water Cat, Vietnam International Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion Center (VITIT), ZOGROUP Group Joint Stock Company and BH HOLDINGS International Joint Stock Company, are pleased to be sponsored a cash gift of VND 10,000,000 for the festival.

On behalf of the People’s Committee, Chairman Nguyen Khanh Du received the above gift.
With the advantage of being located on National Highway 279 connecting 4 provinces of Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai and being the connection center between the West and the North of Ha Giang, Quang Minh commune of Bac Quang district promises to be a stimulus for economic, cultural and tourism development of the province in the future.
