VITIT gives gifts to some difficult situations in Ha Giang

Giving gifts to 5 female members of Ngoc Linh commune, Vi Xuyen district and 14 students of Tan Quang primary school, Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province, VITIT has contributed to the lives of people and students in a local community. Upland provinces still have many difficulties in economic life.

Ha Giang province is located in the Northeast region, sparsely populated, with many ethnic groups living together, but the mountainous terrain makes the economy undeveloped. According to statistics in 2019, Ha Giang is one of the six poorest provinces in Vietnam. GDP per capita reached 20.7 million VND.

In recent years, Ha Giang has been developing more strongly in the tourism segment due to the majestic and mountainous terrain conditions. But economic development is still uneven among districts, communes and populations. Therefore, the lives of ethnic minorities are still facing many difficulties, in which, many women do not have the conditions to build an economic life and many students lack conditions to go to school. Therefore, many agencies and organizations have paid attention to join hands to share difficulties and create conditions for people to rise up in life.

On November 15, the Vietnam International Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion Center (VITIT – under the Career Research Institute for International Integration and Vietnam Craft Village Association – VCCI) had a trip to Vietnam. volunteer work in Ngoc Linh commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province.

During the field trip, providing legal advice on the model of an eco-tourism area for a craft village and developing a business to attract Vietnamese and international tourists, at Hoa Da Garden restaurant, Tan Tan village. Established, Ngoc Linh commune, representative business owner Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huy welcomed the delegation to visit the business complex model and led the field survey team. Accepting the invitation through the connection of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huy at Hoa Da Garden Restaurant, the representative of VITIT presented 5 gifts to 5 members of the Ngoc Linh Commune Women’s Union who had difficult circumstances.

Previously, on November 11, the Center also presented 14 gifts to 14 disadvantaged students at Tan Quang Primary School, Tan Quang Commune, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province.

Mr. Ngo The Vuong – Deputy Director of the Center – spoke to share and encourage people and students during the gift giving ceremony.

This is a small gift that the Center’s officers and staff give to the children with the hope that they will strive to excel in their studies, achieve success and help them in life!”
